R.I.P. Don Mock, Jr.

Members of Phoenix Social Media Club will be sad to know that one of our most active partners and members, Don Mock, Jr. of Jobing.com passed away this week. I have spoken to the community relations people he worked with at Jobing, and they are stunned and bereaved.

Personally, I really loved being around Don. He was always fun, forthcoming, and eager to give of himself.

And I always hate it when someone leaves us so young. We’ve lost a real fan in the Phoenix social media community.

Michelle and Brent Spore have had a baby girl, Cadie, on Janueary 26th. The birth of the baby was Twittered, Flickrd, and Viddlered. Here’s Michelle, during labor. Our congratulations to all of them.

The next meeting of the Phoenix Social Media Club will take place at the Phoenix Airport Marriott Hotel, in conjunction with the Second Annual Arizona Entrepreneurship Conference. The conference reception and social media meetup will begin at 5 PM, in conjunction with Michael Gerber’s talk and the launch of the Club E Social Media site.
